How is this data produced?
This data represents estimates of households' access to various basic amenities, and is tabulated from household-level survey data collected via the Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES), which is conducted at least twice within any 5-year period. For full details on the methodology, especially on the nuances involved in sampling, please refer to the technical notes.
